From 8 AM – 2 PM, explore great treasures including jewelry, antiques, and vintage pieces at the first Antique & Vintage Outdoor Market of 2024!  The Lucky Truck food truck will also be on-site to keep you full through breakfast and lunch.   Hosted by Rebel’s Roost Antique Emporium, this event will take place at The Outlet Shoppes at Gettysburg.  Keep your eyes out — you might stumble upon unique finds that add a touch of local charm to your stay.

Gettysburg Bluegrass Festival (May 16-19):

Let loose and enjoy your favorite Bluegrass music.  Originally founded in 1979, The Gettysburg Bluegrass Festival has been bringing music lovers together for over 40 years.  In 2024, they are back and better than ever with an incredible lineup including Rhonda Vincent & The Rage, The Grascals, Seldom Scene, Woody Platt, and more. Chill on the Hill – Mother’s Day Edition (May 12th):

Immerse yourself in good vibes and great company on Hauser Hill.  This pet-friendly and handicap-accessible event is open to the public and features live music, drinks, and incredible views.  Mom and the whole family will enjoy live music by John Russel Mayer from 12 PM – 4 PM.  Grab a bite to eat at The Mexican Food Truck or Sarah’s Creamery Ice Cream Truck.  Prepare to be amazed as the hill features stunning views overlooking miles of orchards and farmlands.

June:

Wine Run 5K on the Hill (June 1st):

Lace up your running shoes and grab your wine glass for the second annual Hauser Hill Wine Run 5K!  Avid runners and wine connoisseurs alike will have a great time participating in this event.  When you register, you will receive a t-shirt, portable wine glass, finisher medal, race bib, and, of course, your pick of sweet or dry wine.  The event will be timed and scored with results available online.

An Evening with the Painting (June 29th):

Join historian Chris Brenneman for a night to remember at the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitors Center.  Experience a close-up look at the Battle of Gettysburg Cyclorama painting, one of the largest paintings in North America depicting the third day of the Battle of Gettysburg.  Learn more about this incredible work and revel in the exclusive opportunity to examine the painting in full light.
